Recommendation

• Surface must be thoroughly cleaned and free from dirt. Dust can be removed with wire brush and
air blower.
• It is advisable to wet the tiles before applying Varmora Tile Grout in exterior applications.

Cleaning Instructions

• Use a clean & dry cloth to polish the tiles. Hot soap water works best to scrub the floor.
• As it involves polymer content, clean the surface instantly after grouting.
• Allow the grout to set in the joint thoroughly well and let it acquire it’s initial set before cleaning.
Clean the tile surface with a pad of cheesecloth or towel dampened with minimal quantity of clean
and cool water. Use circular motion to rub to further compact the grout.
• Clean the remaining surface grout on the tile. Fasten scrubbing pad to a float to remove grout from
porous tiles.
• Rebuff the tile surface and grout within 1-2 hours to remove grout residue from the surface, which
helps to control the color variation and reduce efflorescence.

Mixing

• Make a smooth and consistent paste by adding tile grout powder to Varmora Grout Hardener in
1kg (tile grout):300ml (grout hardener) ratio, with a slow speed mixer ( 250 – 300 rpm).
• In case of the grout mortar becoming stiff to work with, please get rid of it and prepare a new batch
entirely.
