Job Summary:

The Architect (Back Office) will support the showroom team by providing architectural expertise in designing and planning layouts for customer projects. This role involves assisting with client consultations, preparing design proposals, managing back-office architectural tasks, and ensuring that the customer experience aligns with the showroom’s design objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Support & Consultation:
  • Collaborate with showroom staff to provide architectural input for customer projects.
  • Assist customers in understanding design options and suggest innovative solutions based on their needs.
  • Prepare design layouts, sketches, and 3D models as required.

Architectural Planning & Drawings:

  • Create and review architectural drawings, ensuring they meet showroom standards and customer requirements.
  • Provide technical support in the selection of tiles, sanitaryware, and other showroom products to integrate into customer designs.
  • Modify or adjust designs based on client feedback, showroom needs, and product availability.

Back Office Coordination:

  • Coordinate with the front-office showroom team to ensure design proposals are presented to customers in a timely manner.
  • Assist in maintaining a library of design templates, product specifications, and architectural references for internal use.
  • Handle customer queries related to design, materials, and architectural aspects.

Product Knowledge & Display Optimization:

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the showroom’s product range, including tiles, ceramics, and sanitaryware, to effectively assist in design and consultation.
  • Collaborate with the showroom team to optimize product displays based on current design trends and customer preferences.

Project Management & Execution Support:

  • Liaise with the sales and logistics team to ensure that customer orders and designs are executed efficiently.
  • Provide post-sale architectural support to customers if required, ensuring their design is implemented correctly.

Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain records of design proposals, customer consultations, and project details.
  • Prepare reports on design activities, client feedback, and showroom trends for management review.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in architectural design, interior design, or showroom support.
  • Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other 3D modelling tools.
